Is Burmese Python venomous or a constrictor?

Burmese pythons are carnivores, eating mainly on small mammals and birds. But are the python venomous? Well they are actually constrictors. This python is a powerful ambushing constrictor that kill by constriction, grasping a victim with their sharp teeth, entangle their bodies around the animal, and squeezing until it suffocates.  They can often swollen prey bigger than themselves because they have stretchy ligaments in their jaws that allow them to swallow all their food whole.

Even though bring a powerful predator, they have poor eyesight, they depend mainly on their tongues and heat- sensors along their jaws to stalk their prey.

Burmese Python are among the largest snake on earth and they are native to South East Asia. Burmese Python loves to spend their time in the trees however when they grow larger and heavier, they will transit to mainly ground-dwelling. Side note, they are also excellent swimmers and can stay submerged for up to 30 minutes before surfacing for air.
